This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-dyed piece of Silky Noil (Rayon/Linen). It has been ice-dyed with brilliant, long lasting, permanent Procion dyes. Ice-dyeing is a slow technique that when done properly can result in beautiful surface designs, intense colour contrasts and a flow of movement evoking our natural world.
This Silky Noil is a beautiful mid-weight woven fabric. It has a beautiful flow and drape due to the rayon but also has the sturdy texture and feel of linen. It is slightly heavier than regular rayon or linen so it is perfect for winter makes.
This piece measures (W)127cm x (L)90cm / 50" x 36" Perfect for tops, skirts, dresses and shorts.
